An American national, Alex studied German literature at Northwestern University (USA), creative writing at Oxford University (UK), and received his MBA at the Amos Tuck School of Business Administration at Dartmouth College (USA). For over sixteen years he worked as an investment executive at CVC Capital Partners, one of the world’s five largest private equity firms. During that time he and his team directly invested over $2 billion of equity capital in a variety of businesses spanning many industries. Privately, he assisted in the successful founding, growth and sale of a training franchise. He now divides his time between mentoring and investing in public and private situations including start-ups.
