Beate looks back at more than 20 years of leadership roles in the FMCG and Healthcare industry. In CMO, CDO and Commercial roles at P&G, Merck, Stada and Google she has developed her passion for purpose driven brand building and digital acceleration. She now acts a partner in the global consumer and health practice of Roland Berger strategy consulting.

In 2021, Beate took on a pro bono role as Senior Advisor at Yunus Social Business, supporting companies in ESG and particularly social innovation. In the same year, she was awarded Finalist” at the Digital Female Leader Award 2021.

In previous roles, Beate was CMO for Stada Germany, where she held responsibility for more than 50 product brands. At Google Global Customer solutions, she helped consult German medium and small sized companies on digital transformation. As Chief digital and media officer at Merck Consumer Health, she developed digital brand building, transformed the media model across 11 brands and 40 countries. From 1996 to 2015, she took leadership at P&G in both global strategic as well as operational commercial management roles in Germany, Austria and Switzerland across varied FMCG categories, e.g. Fragrances, Electrical appliances, Hair care, Baby care.

Beate is active as a startup mentor and business angel, as public speaker (e.g. at Dmexco 2020), thought leader on the future of Marketing (e.g. as part of the MMA EMEA board), blogger (Monday Morning Inspiration on LinkedIn.) She acts on the board of the female leaders network Generation CEO and her Rotary Club. She used to lecture Innovation Management at Goethe University Frankfurt and studied business administration and economics at the University of Göttingen and at UCLA.
