The Startups for Future program is for sustainable startups interested in the Unibator’s mentoring and network. We host the Goethe Startups for Future SDG Contest once a year, which awards startups and startup ideas that contribute to the achievement of the “17 Sustainable Development Goals.
01 Application
The the link to the application form and application period are going to be posted here as soon as the dates for the next contest are set into stone.
02 Bootcamp
After acceptance into the program, the teams receive comprehensive feedback on the team and the business idea from selected mentors and experts from the Unibator network. In a series of workshops, relevant skills and tools are taught on topics such as customer acquisition, business model development, financing, sales and marketing.
03 Pitchday
The milestones established during the bootcamp are then validated and reviewed by Unibator leadership in regular meetings. A great deal of emphasis is placed on the data-driven evaluation of appropriate metrics and key success indicators. The goal of the day is to closely accompany the startup process.
04 Award Ceremony
On April 21, 2022, the first award ceremony of the Goethe SDG (=Sustainable Development Goals) Contest took place, where five teams with future-oriented and sustainable start-up ideas were awarded. First place went to the team from NUNOS, second place to Cybery and third place to SURAP. The three teams won cash prizes of 5,000, 3,000 and 2,000 euros respectively and participation in the Unibator Startup Program for three months.
