MINDS-Medical is a Frankfurt based Startup that automates and optimizes billing between hospitals and health insurance companies.

Because of mandatory medical documentation, hospitals lose much of their main resource – their time with patients.

On top of this Germany introduced a diagnosis related grouping and billing system (G-DRG system) in 2004, which makes collecting and coding of special case-based data necessary. Only with this data, hospitals are able write bills. This means, that doctors and controllers spend even more time documenting patient cases to transform them into billable G-DRGs.
