Tomas Herzberger studied Media Management at the University of Applied Sciences in Wiesbaden, GER and Digital Storytelling at Ball State University in Muncie, USA. He started his career at Mindshare, a global media agency, where he was working for clients like Universal Pictures and Unilever. He later worked for entertainment-mastermind Stefan Raab at Brainpool in Cologne, where he was in charge of digital advertising and marketing cooperation. Before he started working as a interim manager, he helped building the digital business unit of Messe Frankfurt, one of the world’s biggest fair organizers.
As a freelancer consultant, Herzberger has helped startups, agencies as well as enterprises to grow with digital marketing, like paydirekt and Deutsche Bahn.
Herzberger is sharing is knowledge on his own blog (tomasherzberger.net/blog), his newsletter “Growth Hacking Rocks” and as a guest blogger on sites like deutsche-startups.de and rhein-main- startups.de. He is co-organizer of the “Usability Testessen” in Frankfurt and initiator of the “Growth Hacking Meetup FFM”. His second book, “Growth Hacking”, will be published in December 2017. Herzberger is living with his wife and two kids in Frankfurt am Main.
