Beate Rosenthal

Beate Rosenthal takes advantage of her long-term management and leadership experience, developed across varied FMCG categories, for instance Prestige fragrances, Watches, Electrical appliances, Hair care, Baby care, Fabric & Home care, Snacks and Health care. Ms. Rosenthal is currently working as Global Brand Director at Merck Consumer Health care in Darmstadt, where among others she orchestrates digital brand building. From 1996 to 2015, she took leadership at Procter & Gamble in both global strategic as well as operational commercial management roles in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Most recently, Ms. Rosenthal acted as Commercial and Marketing leader for the P&G Prestige brand portfolio for DACH, responsible for 17 fragrance brands, like Hugo Boss.

From 2007 to 2012, she worked as Associate Marketing Director with global strategic brand leadership for Braun megabrand, where she was accountable for brand positioning, innovation management and digital marketing / eCommerce. Ms. Rosenthal was externally awarded at various occasions, among others with the German Brand Award “Best new brand” in 2001 and as Winner of the Generation CEO award in 2010. She is active as public speaker, among others on the Global Female Leaders Summit 2015 or the CMO Summit 2014.Ms. Rosenthal takes responsibility in diverse networks, among others in the board of her Rotary Club and as regional chapter leader of the Generation CEO network. Ms. Rosenthal studied business administration and economics at University of Göttingen and at UCLA graduating with a diploma in 1996. As of fall 2015, Beate Rosenthal lectures Innovation Management at the business administration marketing master at Goethe University Frankfurt.
